The theory going around the last few days was people were going to sell for a short term profit with hopes that the SP would drop to the CR price.
Turns out buyers came in droves looking to get in. IMO the buyers are people who think they won’t get their full asking amount in the SPP as well as new holders who haven’t held before the 17th and don’t want to miss out.
We are 6c away from $1 and 14c away from 80c. As a long term holder it would be easier for me if this dropped to 80c so I can buy in without having to go through the SPP but I personally don’t see that happening given FOMO has now kicked in.
This would be trading between $1.10-$1.20 had it not been for the CR announcement. So even with the prices now it’s technically a discount.
