I don't think there would be a royalty payment here.
The company is hoping to classify this as a major mine under the JV agreement hence the ongoing drilling.
If successful I expect this would be a further impetus to the share price.
There would be no royalty payment and ERM would have to share the development costs. However they would also get to share directly in gold sales.
I think a direct JV interest is more attractive to Aust investors, as they are not that familiar with royalty type companies.
