They put the results out prior to the FY24 results coming out which are likely to be less good than a lot of people think. They had revenue of $893 mil which may not enough to accommodate the costs which have not yet been revealed.
They raised the maximum amount of shares that they could (15%) in any 12 month period. The actual raise was 12.7% but they left room in case of a price fall and to be able to issue director and management bonuses. If they raised more they would have needed to issue a Prospectus with full financials. No chance of that lol
