I spoke to the Commsec International Help Line again for clarification. The issue apparently is how to transfer the shares from the US Registry into the Commsec International Account. They mentioned that they can only support a Broker to Broker transfer of shares and that I would need to use a new Broker who can handle a US Registry to Broker transfer, then I can transfer from that Broker to Commsec.

Does that make sense?
