I have heard about that. Tells me how selfish people are. They keep the price down until they had their fill and the SP sets for a significant run. Those rich fat ones don't care about mom and dad investors getting burnt in the process.
In a down trend it's even worse. They use the wide spread and poor buying interest(drive it down, create panic and hit stop losses).
