The return to pre COVID revenue for SYD is just around the corner. I am not an optimist, nor a pessimist… but a realist. International air travel will resume at the latest in one year, based on the facts that most historic pandemics have passed within two years, and some of them have been way deadlier and transmissible than COVID-19 including all new variations of the virus. Air travel will slowly increase from the time we have an 80% vaccination rate until full recovery of air travel. It will probably overshoot expectations initially as people are keen to see the world again. I bet SYD is $9-9.50 within a year, with or without an accepted bid.
