I reckon Perilya, as the largest shareholder in MYL, would have been actively consulted by the mgmt team on the proposed offer and it wouldn't have proceeded to this point unless they were in favour. More than anything, I think today's announcement indicates that Perilya is not interested in acquiring the project itself.
