IMF (Australia) Ltd reached conditional settlement of one of the claims it has funded and expects to report a net profit after tax for 2009 in the middle of the previously forecast range of $20 million to $24 million including the profit from this settlement.

It is a term of the conditional settlement that the identity of the defendant not be disclosed and the terms of the conditional settlement be kept confidential. The settlement is conditional on the dismissal of the proceedings after payment of the settlement sum.I f the settlement becomes unconditional, IMF will receive revenue of approximately $2.6 million and generate a profit after capitalised overheads of $1.2 million before tax.
