@RPaulson and @Ausbert, a company only has to release price-sensitive (ie 'material') information, and if it is of that status, then pronto.
Most of the time we think of price-sensitive news as being news that should make the SP rise. Sometimes though, it might make the SP fall because of its negative nature. It should be as clear-cut as that.
However, where the market expectation is high as regards drilling and assay news, then would actual so-so news be considered price-sensitive so as to make the company release it pronto? In other words, would management be expected to read the positive market expectation into its interpretation of the continuous disclosure obligations and then deem so-so news to be price-sensitive? I have pondered this before. My answer is 'no' and 'no'.
All that said, I'm sure that HQ will release all relevant info when it has it available, regardless of whether it's deemed to be price-sensitive or not p-s.
