I read that but it makes no sense.
3 weeks ago the Farm-out process was shelved.
Now it's back on, based on ConocoPhillips encountering hydrocarbons. There was a good chance that hydrocarbons would be encountered prior to XCD's decision to shelve the Farm-out. Conoco have cut their own drilling program, oil production and $200 mill Capex.
So the very reasoning behind the decision to postpone the Farm-out discussions has been confirmed by XCD's neighbour and now the CEO sees this as the reason to reinitiate? Very strange.
How did NAPE go? How is the oil price? How are the capital markets?
The CEO is sending out mixed messages. For reasons you are well aware of.
