re: Ann: ConocoPhillips exercises option to a... I see it differently as does the market. KAR are 40% on the southern permit, and 49% on the northern two, so all the modelling by analysts were on 40% anyway. All it means is that KAR just saved itself A$110m in JV-expenditures.
40% of a 7-20Tcf baby is huge. You see the likes of the supermajors with small interests, look at Wheatstone, Gorgon ...
