Jeffries, I was not referring to you when made the comment that about struggling to get the very basics right. This was a general comment about CQA and not an attack on you.
With respect to the BIDDERS STATEMENT, you have missed the point. A bidders statement is suppose to be exactly that, a statement from the bidder to the shareholders of the entity to which it is bidding for. There should be absolutely NO reference or commentary whatsoever on what the directors of P1's views/opinions are on the bid. Any views or opinions of P1 Directors should only be addressed in the TARGET STATEMENT (which is usually a response to the bidder statement) which P1 releases to their shareholders. It would have been different if the bidder statement and target statement were prepare together and released as one document, but this was not the case. A monumental error on CQA's part.
