A lot of retail investors and brokers who may not know the CQT story like some of us here, would find it hard to interpet this announcement as to whether it is a huge positive or negative. Even ourselves on this forum are still not sure the next moves and can only speculate.
If we conclude that the average punter would not fully understand the ramifications of the ann., then who was buying today?
Only those who are closer to the action and more informed than us. The turnover today was up about 6 times the daily average of August. The buyers were strong around the 50c mark and I am very confident that the buying will be just as strong the next few days.
