mustang....I do not think that "Africa" issues are the problem. I was invested in Tietto Minerals which had great success in the Ivory Coast over the past few years before being acquired by a Chinese entity. It is just possible that the powers that be in Malawi are not great fans of RIO, having seen what a hash that company made on a coal deposit in neighbouring Mozambique. Although I have been a long term investor in RIO , I would prefer another major mining house to take control when the time is right.
