It may have something to with the fact that CGR has been paying out dividends for years & COG hasn't. Add back all the cash that has been paid out the shareholders & see what difference that makes.
On profitability CGR smashes COG.
This merger is completely unnecessary for CGR shareholders, the company has a bright future after the recent Classic acquisition & has very good funding facilities.
It may have something to with the fact that CGR has been paying...
