Hi John, actually the last 2 class actions I've been involved in have been worth it. These days the set up is different and the litigation funder and the layers get paid a set pre-agreed fee and the bulk of funds goes to the represented/shareholders. Much better than the old ambulance chaser days where the legals won the loot and the punters just won the case, or worse didn't win but then had fees for both sides to pay. Anyways, I'm now out so if I get a cheque in the mail I'll take it. And I think however it is now, it stands to soon change going ahead to make class actions harder to get off the ground.

As for the comment that there is now just 1 class action, not 2 or 3. That is not quite right, and is just the court efficiently limiting the number of lawyers and their fees as they are all fighting the same fight. There are still the same amount of recipients and pay out should we win. Cheers, C.
