KCC has decent package there with small JORC copper resource. There are few parties that approached them to buy these tenements. KCC are negotiating a deal now. So they will exit Mongolia and end up with cash or cash and equity.

RIO is there is operates the 4th largest copper mine in the world. But it is not a place for juniors - risk wise.

I know RIO almost bought this from KCC many years ago but the markets collapsed (I think this was ~2008 and KCC was trading on TSX) and with that teh copper prices and RIO pulled out. But what that tells me is that the ground has potential. RIO would not be interested in if it's not.

And right now all majors and mid-tier plays are all trying to secure prospective land for porphyries all over the world.
