My problem is with the leadership of our company.
What has the chair done about the slacker director?
Surely it's the Chair's JOB to get the board in order and to keep it in order.
If the Chair can't do the job then vote against the Chair and let's get someone to run the board rather more aggressively.
The slack director should get the bullet and be replaced by a non exec director determined to look after the interests of all the owners and stakeholders.
What have the independent directors done or said?
If they're not up to poking and prodding the board and the management to produce better outcomes for the owners of the business, which is a large part of their jobs, then we should vote them out and replace them also.
And bonuses!!! Don't get me started.
I shall vote against the con, against the remuneration and against the whole board.
Let's send them a message.
Just my opinion of course.
