Not interested in getting between two protagonists on this thread, however I suggest you re read my original post in the context it was written
To put it in a nutshell:-
Changing the number of shares on issue does not provide a binary outcome in regard to capital or liquidity. For CDX, news/ deals/products will provide that binary outcome . The absence of these unfortunately means the consolidation (by itself) just creates a new base and subsequent issues as I mentioned. (If they had an ulterior reason it should have been included!)
As I said - bring on the news and no issue from me!!
BTW - Agree, continuing to learn is important and is one of the reasons I follow action of Directors in many companies to observe outcomes even if I don't hold. (I do hold CDX though)
