Im pretty sure on the ASX you only have to release information if it is going to be price sensitive. So it isnt full disclosure, and Im also rather certain once lawyers are involved, being price sensitive can be rather vague and easy to argue. I have seen people at the pub running their mouth about info and then the stock price jumps monday, come tuesday theres a query, and by thursday it's all roses. Mainly because its so hard to prove on hear say, and because whos going to pay the lawyers? the people that lost their money on the stock market? They're broke! Its why their mad.
