"The approval is being sought to make the capital structure of the company more investment ready for Institutional and High net worth investors".

Based on that and the current price action of the sp it would seem that they are clearing out the current registry of small holders to make way for the above, what better way to do it while sentiment is low. Unfortunately for us I feel we will be in for a bit more pain before this gets any better.
