    A 50-cent penny stock has about the same value as a 5-cent stock. Meaning the 10 for 1 has about the same attractiveness in the retail market. It will not have an influx of new stockholders coming in to buy up stocks. Also, without any new great investment value, the stock price will decline back to its pre-split value.
