OMG..am so devastated today haven't been able to pick myself up...

OMG..am so devastated today haven't been able to pick myself up off the floor after seeing it is a 100 split...only because we are investors from original company. We're thankful Thian Chew came along & has given Invion a positive outlook to future treatments of certain cancers with hopefully very lucrative future. If so hope he reads this taking us poor previous Shareholders into account if a Pharma deal is on the table to be done ..now need $30+ please!

Don't read on if not interested in the history of this share which is nothing to do with Dr Chew & the future of it. Just many don't realise that IVX morphed from prior ASX listed shell CBZ with some of us invested for over 23 years now in the prior company which first started as an unlisted Biotec 'CBIO' back in 2001 at $1 Share. in 2007, ' Xtoll' showed great promise to help RA & MS with Novo Nordisk taking an Option for a licensing royalty agreement & things were looking good when that Board called a special meeting for Shareholders stating was last CR at $3 Share as confident they would be selling company to a BIg Pharma with 10 Billion deal not out of the question (equated to $10 Share back then & stated would not accept any less). My hubby went to that meeting as I couldn't attend & he came home excited saying we have to invest all we've got as $3 would soon turn into $10. Of course I was dubious not having been there to hear the hype/facts then received a letter from a Financial Planning Business who first introduced us to investing in CBIO stating were of the strongest view that we should take up the offer as believe everyone would be well rewarded in max 18 months. Unfortunately we had just sold our home signed a short rental lease while we looked for our next home so had funds sitting there & pressure was on from financial people & was a lot of arguments & hubby invested a lot more in than I wanted to. Well...it has been a long stressful road as that Pharma deal didn't pan out & price retreated quickly as was unlisted & hard to find buyers until story improved then when it listed slowly depreciated amongst lots of seemingly hopeful announcement scenarios that made us think money was still salvageable (all the usual stuff companies do..) so, yep, kept investing all the way down & recently bought chunk of Shares at .003 to make our break even = 28c. Thought if IVX is successful with using this method for Prostrate Cancer (we know at least 15 men friends who are all getting chemo & radiation) then this could be BIG & that price may not be out of the question....BUT now with 100 split means we need $28 price or more to get the money back..used to be able to buy a house with it but now you can't at all is why I am depressed mess today!

Anyway, telling our story as a reminder sometimes better to wait for the deal or not risk so much until after & not to invest all the way down so is a lesson to others not to go all in on HOPE as we ended up having to rent for 5 years unable to buy a house (couldn't believe they kept surging up after GFC..?) so in 2013 with our last funds got a cheap block out west, lived in a shed for 5 years worked 7 days a week slowly built a nice shack we then sold in 2023 after covid made remote living 'the dream'. We made a much harder life for ourselves with 1 foolish decision but still hopeful that IVX will be fruitful. Katy
