Ha! Thanks for the Locke reminder. I bought a beaver-fur Cossack hat there almost 50 years ago, at great expense, I still have it. Whenever I wear it, it always attracts comments and questions from well-wishers; perhaps the best question I received was: “Did something have to die for that?” I was able to reassure him that it was already dead when I found it; but that beaver was one-in-a-million, it lost its life but lives on in perpetuity here on HC. I’ll attach a photo, If I can find the hat at short notice.
Keep cheerful, things can turn round and often do.
Nope missing! Now the search starts.
