No it will be much better as due to the liquidity and large spread the algos work the stock down purely due to this factor and also how many times have seen 25 share sale sell the stock down 2%.
With the share split it will trade 35-35.5c spread so the algo is not able to manipulate the stock due to low liquidity. The stock will only need 2 price steps to effectively move 10 price steps as it does now from 35c to 36c
