I respectfully disagree. The Market Cap will be exactly the same pre and post consolidation. The Market Cap is the number afforded by the market based on valuation.

Going forward, by comparison a lift on the share price by say 0.005 in pre consoldation terms should see a lift of 10 c in post consolidations terms.

As I said, all about Nuheara's motive. You could well be be correct if the consolidation is nothing more than to create 'headroom' for further Cap Raises. I have simply unpacked a scenario, where the motive is based on likely and yet to be announced progress towards scale.

Upcoming news should confirm the path we are on.
