    I hear what you’re saying but I disagree. The market cap doesn’t change excluding the unmarketable parcel buy back. Lots of new investors will often look at SOI and when it’s over a billion they will just move on. OEL is almost at 5 billion which is a joke and just says to new investors that OEL has (correctly) been a prevalent raiser.

    Doing this now can be a cynical re-dress of the company but in this instance the company should be turning the corner cashflow wise. So with a consolidation and an improved financial performance, that will/should/could attract new investors which is what is needed to get this higher. I agree with you though when nothing changes in the company - that can lead to another leg down but I think we’re in a different position here.

    The other positive is cleaning up the register. Around 20% of shareholders in OEL hold an unmarketable parcel. This cuts admin costs and can also be considered a very very small buyback too.
