You put '0.83 cents' there where it should be either 83cents or $0.83 (I think you meant $0.83 anyway)

Ok, when the consolidation happened at 100:1 the shareprice/SP was 1.1c and this converted to $1.10

SINCE then the SP dropped to $0.83.
So, the 'paper shuffle' hasn't cost you $3037.50 - this occurred because of the subsequent drop in the value of each share.

In my experience, the vast majority of consolidations lead to a drop in the SP so, personally, I prefer to sell when a consolidation is announced and if my original research on the fundamentals of the company still hold true, I can buy back again at a lower outlay than before - if that makes sense ?

Disclaimer here is that I have no intention to direct or advise in any way how anyone should treat consolidations.

Thought it re quoted on ASX in low 80's

Anyways no problem I suppose, as I expect to make up for this legal robbery with OSP divies in future.
