    Hi Stu
The question of election fraud is far from being a '' no brainer". All cases brought by Trump and his allies - some 45+ cases (and continuing) to overturn the election - came before state and federal courts as well as the US Supreme Court. In all cases bar 1 (which involved a minor procedural matter) election fraud was not alleged by his lawyers. Trump lost all his cases bar 1.

Suffice to say when fraud is alleged evidence is needed that will hold up in a court of law. Trump had none. If he had hard evidence he would surely have used them. If some were to argue the courts were biased against Trump then they need to be reminded that many of the judges were Trump appointees including 3 on the US Supreme Court. Trump lost his cases in spite of his attempts to stack the judges.

It is one thing to testify in a court. It is another to testify in an enquiry. In court you can be prosecuted for telling a lie. In an enquiry nothing happens - and you can appear with a stack of affidavits and say anything. Witness Giuliani and Powell with their conspiracy theories and Dominion software. The downside to this is they risk getting sued by Dominion. Initial steps have begun. If there is fraud and deception it is unlikely to be from the Biden side of politics. Watch that space.

For "outcry" and "going mental"- there is and has all been whipped up by Trump to galvanise his support base. Trump has been effective in blurring what is real and what is not - and what is true and what is not. If you must lie - lie big-time because it's easier to believe. Lie about something often enough and people will believe it's all true. This is a subtle form of brain washing in which Trump is so good at if he has been able to convince so many people to follow him.

As to whether Mier had anything to do with all this that would be drawing a long bow indeed. However stranger things have happened.

My take on what is happening.
