Hi Biarra, I believe the opposite is the case. If the share price is 0.002 it can only go up or down by 50% which is a huge percentage. This has the effect of locking in the price because people are reluctant to pay that much more or sell for that much less. If instead the share price after consolidation is say 4 cents, it can then increase by an increment of 0.001 which is only 2.5%, thus freeing up trade in this stock and hopefully allowing it to gradually increase in price with further good results.
