These mobs do not even pay enough for the assets. The price was far too low. Brookfields was just being ridiculous.
I am surprised it got as far as it got, and that anyone took Brookfields seriously.
Especially after the AGL scandal.
Why does ASIC just sit there and do nothing?
ASIC is massively underfunded, I suppose?
