I kind of agree about the nepotism part...but having to pay to get one of these reports done for a business I'm involved in, $80k is actually a pretty darn good price compared to what it would cost if they gone externally.
You can easily dust $200k on an environmental report that comes back and is a complete load of crap, in my experience.
