I'm interested in what AEV used as 'collateral/security' for these loans, I've seen ASX-minnows 'taken to the cleaners' for a missed repayment, eg: ASX:MIN picked up the entire asset-base of ASX:EGO (~A$40m) for missing a repayment of a A$15m 'collateralised/securitised' debt-obligation (loan) from MIN...
If a 'savvy, cashed-up' Chinese investor was looking for a 'low-risk, back-door' ownership-stake (takeover) of an ASX-minnow, it's been done before...
I haven't been following closely, I grabbed a few AEVO in NOV-22, LT-hold, in hindsight, should've offloaded in JAN/FEB 2023 for the quick-spike trade...
Interested in feedback from anyone with some deeper insight into any current (most importantly, factual) 'state of play' for AEV...
