@PovertyBoy No. ASX will allow companies to stay voluntarily suspended for up to 2 years following which they're delisted. As I said in my previous post something is off and it's likely the ASX suspects, or has formed the view, that the company isn't complying with Listing Rule 3.1 in relation to the disclosure of the exploration results. This might be because the company or its contractors had knowledge of the results for an extended period of time and therefore didn't immediately release them to the market as required under Listing Rule 3.1. It would explain the price movement and why the ASX hasn't released the response to the price query as it's investigating or questioning the company's response. ASX won't usually hold up releasing a price query response unless there's an issue with something that the company has said in it.
The involuntarily suspension announcement states specifically that the company won't be reinstated to quotation unless ASX is satisfied it's complying with Listing Rule 3.1.
Of course this is all guess work but I'd be surprised if I'm far off the mark.
