If you consider a negotiation the other party would have the advantage of knowing MNB cannot come out of a trading halt until the deal is done. Hence MNB is under more time pressure than the other party. Pushing it out 10 days, whilst frustrating for us, will likely remove time pressure and level the playing field in the negotiation. If that is the case, I am fully supportive of the delay.
