It’s still a functioning entity with a lot of value .
Meanwhile Dr D obviously got bored or got sick or got something else to play with and has been ramping it up for sale since before last year but nobody is going to buy a company without due diligence.
ie an entity that is for sale must present well.
That makes me think maybe the costs blow out is a genuine mistake .
To support this is the intimation, from its own report, that Macquarie went through it in detail before giving it the ‘out perform ‘ rating in June .
But who knows?
