So at a time where the underlying commodity is at all time highs, the global macro and geopolitical setup is as prospective as it has ever been, results are released showing nothing but good news via the drill bit and a crossed trade completes pre market for a significant proportion of the register at 6c. And then price drops 0.1c on that same day.
It's hard to escape the feeling, as the old saying goes, that if you don't know who the sucker is, then it's probably you.
It's also hard to escape the feeling that games are being played and retail is as always being treated as the mark.
I suspect management must have some idea what is really going on behind the scenes with their register. They would buy themselves some credibilty by making a statement to inform those in the cheap seats what they know. At the very least we are owed some disclosure regards what entity now owns those shares as a result of that trade. It is material in the market.
