I like the comment from the Alliance article on 22/02/2018. Which you may find interesting.

I once saw a statistic that for every ten (1gpt gold deposits), one 2.5 gram per tonne gold deposits exists.
Hence high-grade deposits are rare. And with limited drilling, we have three.
A TEN gram per tonne deposit. How many one gram per tonne deposits exist per 10 gram per tonne. That would be interesting.
