Your assumptions rightly so are based around the status quo (fair assumption to make as the demo was promised in 2014). With the EM partnership I believe (and we can't see it) that they have nailed it..
.. Yes EM cash has not come through but they are funding the fabs on that side which I think wouldnt be cheap..
Rework your thinking if they do get a working Gen2 chip over the coming weeks then none of the above will be an issue outside of the shitty optics and again I don't think that will be an issue as they will be in the money and faith will be restored.
