PET or AKP?
Perhaps a simpler explanation is that after 19 years of trying, the technology challenge is too much for AKP. It's up to a board to determine if that's the case, but continuing on with business as normal will only lead to further predicament (particularly around funding).
Board incompetence has cost many T20 holders dollars in the past; AKP may be no different in that regard.
Time will tell.
