Hey Spec's yeah I admit they are showing the way, but you'd hardly know it at times. Which is the frustrating part of investing in an explorer in this part of the world unfortunately.
Cracking result really!
But why we didn't scream "BONANZA GOLD" from the rafters is what gets me?

We are on 300m spacings here as shown so there's a bit in it to pick over nicely and you could dig the ore up with an excavator straight off the back of a truck it's that bloody shallow. !
The crazy thing is all these were recorded within the first 50m from surface !!
With 11m at 5.37 g/t basically saying "What strip ratio at El Pilar Oxide mine"
Other notables who have blown their own trumpet in Ecuador in fact, did so from 173m to 313m down hole for a paltry 0.4 - 0.5m.. of gold equivalent resource
Drill hole ESDD006 intersected 5 significant lodes of silver-gold-zinc-lead
mineralisation along with multiple lower grade intervals. High grade intercepts
include:
o 3.75m at 11.8g/t silver, 1.54g/t gold from 102m
o 0.4m at 355g/t silver, 0.36g/t gold, 3.55% zinc from 173m
o 0.5m at 187g/t silver, 1.44g/t gold from 206m
o 0.5m at 550g/t silver, 0.26g/t gold from 278m
o 0.5 at 93g/t silver, 0.68g/t gold, 2.45% zinc from 313m
TMR had a little more meat on the bones but it doesn't say from what depth.. What it does say however is that anything above 5 g/t is considered high but Bonanza is on a whole other level.. So where is the pitch from Antilles? This morning, the results came in.
TMR has just announced “Bonanza” grade results from its recent gold drilling campaign at its Canadian exploration project.
In gold exploration, Bonanza is big news.
The gold exploration industry defines a “Bonanza result” as any result above 34g of gold per tonne of rock/ore (g/t) - which is extremely high grade.
Anything above 5 g/t is considered high grade, but 34 g/t Bonanza grades are a whole other level.
This morning TMR’s lab resultsreturned well above bonanza grades:
5 meters at 61.3 g/t including 1.5m at 186 g/t3.2 meters at 28.1 g/t including 0.5m at 178 g/t
The results are at least spectacular "HOLE PDH-021 19.0 m at 11.56 g/t Au from 13.0m including 3.0m at 59.44 g/t Au" when considering the depth, the grade and the width and yet you'd hardly know it.
For a smallish open cut oxide operation they are word class and that is the story that needs to be trumpeted at the moment, not the construction of a mine etc that, may happen in 12 - 18m time..
Like it or not we are a spec explorer, not a junior producer despite what may have transpired in the past.. And speccy's gotta sell the dream and make people believe..
The market doesn't accept there will even be a tomorrow at present, so best we start selling what we got's today... Just MO
Of course if you wanna go ahead and drop a funding deal on the table or introduce a cornerstone investor with deep pockets well hey, I'll eat my shorts..
I aint too proud ;-) hehe gltah h8tey..
