Hard to say Gurvantes was the definitive issue but at a minimum it represented a headache for STX. Informed HC posters connected to STX described TEG JV and Condor as "liabilites" and "marginal ground" so maybe it was the collective that stopped V2. IMO all 3 projects are best left with TPD at this point of their timeline so no tears from me that the deal fell over.
