Your mining shares are a call option on the price of gold. So if you believe that gold will go up then you should be invested in gold shares. Obviously you want to hold companies that have a solid outlook to be producers or are producers already (or will be soon).

NVA is 25% on that road with the current ongoing newsflow. I would invest the cash and convert. And if you are very nervous just put a stop loss at 3.2 c plus whatever you paid for your oppies. That way you are more protected if that makes you feel better.

6c is crazy cheap for the potential that this stock has. Even if this would go to a 250 mln company, you get multiples (your PM's won't get you that). But NVA have a real shot at becoming a billion dollar outfit (or more, see @marcogroot post).
