Trump likes to make deals and he's very savvy at appealing to his base. It's more likely he will use the threat of cancellation as a bargaining chip to increase the proportion of subs manufactured in US yards - but there's a lot of dependencies in that scenario. I got in to BIS recently to increase exposure to defence spending more generally, and (hopefully) ride future strategic policy to reduce supply chain risk. ...if not subs, the various Land 400 projects will need quality steel.
