It really gets down to how you assess the expertise of management and their past experience. Ross Shrimpton has been in the game for a long time. He has historically been through some big changes in regulation of the industry and the ASH SP has suffered accordingly but the business has handled the changes and built up to providing steady metrics and steady yields for those who have invested. I feel that Ross has the historical experience to weather what has occurred with Linc and any future regulations which the Feds feel inclined to place on the industry. The next consideration is whether we need such an industry in Australia. My view is absolutely - there will always be a place for labour hire companies and tutoring. Right now with labour shortages, wage increases, some people looking for part-time jobs due to needing extra income I only see all of these factors favoring industries such as ASH. Just my slant on things and I am happy to be criticised.
