IMO tactically it's a good idea for RAC to carry out some clinical FTO trials by itself before allowing CoH to join in.
That strengthens our patent argument by landing and planting the RAC flag.
Which is what the FTO part of this trial is doing. Right of first occupancy / might is right.
Never mind that CoH landed first without being allowed to plant their own flag.
