Most recent peak in net shorts was 12 June (see chart a few posts above). In the two days since then, it's come down a fraction (just over 200k shares).
Price over those two days was +26c and + 13c. Will have to wait until next Monday to see how shorters responded to this announcement but it looks like they picked the worst possible time to increase their shorts and still have over 41m shares to buy back while the share price is already heading north again.
Hard to work out how high the share price might have been by now if the shorters weren't keeping a lid on things...
