Jon, AWS/GCP/Azure are IaaS or PaaS mainly - Infrastructure as a service, Platform as a service.
They still need to build the physical infrastructure, secure it, power it and cool it. Now while they do build some private DC’s, they also utilise ‘Colo’ or CoLocation Data Centres, this is where NextDC come in, facilities are built and ready to go, just tell us how much racks space and MW you want and when you want to move it….
