remember the iphone 7? camera was 7MP and 1080p video, folks thought that was unreal. Now the iphone is 48MP and shoots 4k....folks backing that up to the cloud. Needs a data centre somewhere!!
home security, streaming, work from home, medical records, teleconferencing, shopping, gaming, eLearning...all of it is going online and to the cloud
AI is going to be another huge leap for data real estate, all needs physical space as DanglingPointer said.
