The royalty is secured on the land not the company ie whether operated by FMG or MIN the royalty gets paid. MinRes didn't sink hundreds of miliions of dollars on site infrastructure and continue to sink millions on a solar facility if they thought for one moment there was any sort of merit to the legal claims by FMG (who are just attempting to interrupt a competitor's business). Complete nothingburger.
As for the exploration tenements - they've done a full review of the Cobar basin, picked up a bunch of new tenements, flown geophysics are now doing groundwork and further geophys to define targets before a drill program kicking off early next year. Sounds like you don't want to be here though so just move on?
